Physical & Integrative Healthcare That Sees the Whole Picture

At Bridge to Hope, we believe physical and mental health are deeply connected. Your nervous system, hormones, immune system, lifestyle, and mental health don't exist in separate boxes—and your healthcare shouldn't either.

Our approach to physical healthcare is collaborative, affirming, and centered around the whole person. We take the time to listen to your story, understand how your symptoms and experiences connect, and work with you to develop a plan that feels realistic, sustainable, and aligned with your goals.

Whether you've been searching for answers, managing multiple health concerns, feeling overwhelmed by medications, or simply looking for a provider who takes the time to see the bigger picture, we're here to help.

What You Can See Us For

ADHD: Evaluation, Diagnosis & Treatment

ADHD doesn't exist in a vacuum. It can impact your mental health, relationships, work, physical health, sleep, and ability to manage everyday life. We provide ongoing ADHD care that looks beyond simply identifying a diagnosis.

Yes, we can:

  • Evaluate and diagnose ADHD when appropriate.
  • Prescribe stimulant medications and other medications when clinically appropriate.
  • Provide ongoing ADHD and mental health medication management.
  • Help you look at the bigger picture—including sleep, stress, hormones, nutrition, movement, and other factors that may affect your symptoms.

We are not here simply to provide an evaluation and send you on your way. Our goal is to provide ongoing care and support for the whole person.

Hypermobility: Evaluation, Diagnosis & Treatment

Living with hypermobility can be complicated, particularly when symptoms have been dismissed or disconnected from one another.

We can evaluate your symptoms and clinical history for features consistent with hypermobility disorders, including hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS) and other hypermobility-related conditions.

What we can help with:

  • Clinical evaluation for hypermobility and related symptoms.
  • Identification of clinical features that may warrant additional specialty evaluation.
  • Symptom management and coordination of care.
  • Referrals to appropriate specialists when needed.

While we do not provide genetic testing, we can help identify when a genetics referral or additional specialty evaluation may be appropriate.

hEDS, POTS & MCAS: Understanding the Overlap

The relationship between hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) can be complex.

These systems can overlap, symptoms can affect multiple areas of your life, and it can be incredibly frustrating when no one seems to be looking at the whole picture.

We understand the complexity involved in evaluating and managing these conditions and the importance of listening carefully to your history and symptom patterns.

If you have ever felt like your symptoms are being treated as unrelated pieces of a puzzle, we want to help you step back and look at the entire picture.

Our Approach to Testing

We do not believe that more testing automatically means better care.

When testing is clinically indicated, we will discuss appropriate options with you. However, we also recognize that extensive testing, imaging, and referrals are not always necessary or helpful.

Our approach prioritizes a thorough clinical history, thoughtful assessment, and appropriate testing when it is likely to provide meaningful information or change your treatment plan.

This can help reduce unnecessary costs, appointments, testing, and—perhaps most importantly—preserve some of your precious energy and spoons.

If you are specifically seeking a highly testing-intensive approach with extensive laboratory work, imaging, and multiple referrals, our practice may not be the best fit—and that's okay. Finding the right provider for your healthcare needs matters.

Trauma & Complex PTSD

Trauma can affect much more than our thoughts and emotions. It can influence the nervous system, sleep, physical health, relationships, stress tolerance, and the way we experience the world.

We provide evaluation and treatment for trauma-related symptoms and take a whole-person approach to care.

Our approach may include:

  • Evaluation of trauma-related symptoms.
  • Medication management when appropriate.
  • Consideration of lifestyle and environmental factors that may be contributing to symptoms.
  • Collaboration with your therapist and other members of your care team.

We recognize that healing is not just about reducing symptoms. It's also about understanding what your nervous system has experienced and helping you develop tools that support long-term wellbeing.

Complex Care Management

Sometimes you already have a primary care provider—but you still feel like no one has had the time to help you connect the dots.

You can continue seeing your PCP while working with us for additional support and complex care management.

This may include:

  • Root-cause exploration and identifying patterns between symptoms.
  • Lifestyle medicine and education.
  • Understanding how different health conditions may interact.
  • Medication review and recommendations.
  • Support with streamlining an overwhelming medication burden.
  • Collaboration with your existing medical providers.
  • Helping you better understand your health and navigate a complicated healthcare system.

If you've ever felt lost, overwhelmed, or like you're collecting diagnoses without anyone explaining how everything fits together, this type of care may be helpful for you.

Gender-Affirming Care & Hormone Therapy

Bridge to Hope is committed to providing inclusive and affirming healthcare for LGBTQIA+ and gender-diverse individuals.

We believe you deserve healthcare where you can show up as your full, authentic self without needing to educate, defend, or minimize who you are.

We provide personalized gender-affirming care that respects your individual goals and supports your health and wellbeing.

Your care should be yours.

Mental Health: Evaluation, Diagnosis & Treatment

Mental health and physical health are interconnected, and we approach them that way.

We can help with:

  • Evaluation of mental health symptoms.
  • Diagnosis when appropriate and when desired.
  • Medication management.
  • Identifying lifestyle factors that may be contributing to symptoms.
  • Education about the relationship between your nervous system, physical health, stress, and mental health.

And yes—we may occasionally annoy you by talking about sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, work-life balance, and environmental or inflammatory factors.

We promise it's because we care about the whole picture.

Neurodivergent-Affirming Care

We do not provide formal neuropsychological evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder. However, we can discuss your experiences, identify potential neurodivergent traits, and help you determine whether a formal evaluation would be helpful or meaningful for you.

We can also:

  • Help you decide whether pursuing formal evaluation is the right next step.
  • Connect you with appropriate resources for formal evaluation.
  • Help identify workplace needs and potential accommodations.
  • Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork when clinically indicated.

Perimenopause & Hormonal Changes

For many people, hormonal changes can dramatically affect ADHD, mood, sleep, anxiety, energy, and overall functioning.

If you have ever felt like your ADHD was previously manageable and then suddenly everything stopped working during perimenopause, you are not imagining it. Hormonal changes can significantly influence brain function and neurobiology.

We can help evaluate symptoms related to perimenopause and hormonal changes and discuss a variety of treatment options.

Treatment may include:

  • Lifestyle and behavioral interventions.
  • Symptom management.
  • Medication management.
  • Hormonal treatment options.
  • Hormone replacement therapy when clinically appropriate.

Hormone care is not one-size-fits-all. Our goal is to help you understand your options and make informed decisions about your care.

Medication-Sensitive Patients & Polypharmacy

Medication management can become overwhelming—especially when multiple providers are prescribing medications for multiple symptoms.

We can help you step back and look at the entire picture.

Our approach may include:

  • Reviewing your current medications.
  • Identifying potential overlaps or areas for simplification.
  • Considering how medications, lifestyle, and underlying health conditions may be affecting one another.
  • Using both lifestyle-based and pharmaceutical interventions when appropriate.
  • Collaborating with your PCP and other providers.

We do not believe complex polypharmacy should be managed in isolation. When appropriate, we will work collaboratively with your existing healthcare providers to help simplify and improve your overall treatment plan.

Our Approach

Traditional healthcare can sometimes feel rushed and fragmented. Symptoms are addressed one at a time, appointments are short, and patients can leave with more questions than answers.

Our approach is different.

We believe that health concerns rarely exist in isolation.

The nervous system, immune system, hormones, physical health, lifestyle, and mental health are deeply interconnected. Meaningful care requires paying attention to how those systems may influence one another.

Especially when we first begin working together, we prioritize taking the time to get to know you and understand your story.

Initial and early appointments are often approximately one hour, allowing time for meaningful conversation, education, and collaborative planning. As your care progresses, appointment length can be adjusted based on your individual needs.

And because Bridge to Hope is also a counseling practice, your experience may feel a little different from a traditional medical office.

That's intentional.

Collaborative, Patient-Centered Care

We work best with patients who want to actively participate in their healthcare and decision-making.

We believe strongly in patient autonomy. Our role is to share our clinical knowledge, explain your options, discuss safe and reasonable next steps, and help guide you through the decision-making process.

You remain the decision-maker.

We won't put you in a box or expect every person to follow the same rigid algorithm.

We also spend time explaining what may be happening underneath the surface—from physiology and neurobiology to the ways different body systems interact.

Because knowledge is powerful.

Understanding your own body and healthcare can help you feel more confident navigating the medical system and advocating for your needs wherever you go next.

A Different Kind of Healthcare Experience

If you are frustrated by feeling rushed, dismissed, or disconnected from your own healthcare, you may be looking for something different.

Our approach is holistic and person-centered, with attention to the connection between mind, body, and overall wellbeing.

Our office is also designed to feel comfortable.

It's not stuffy. It's not about creating a perfect clinical experience.

You are welcome to get comfortable, take off your shoes, sit where your body feels supported—and yes, sometimes we sit on the floor.

We also incorporate somatic and body-based approaches into care when appropriate, including as part of lifestyle and wellness planning.

You don't have to show up perfectly put together.

You don't have to have all of the answers.

You don't have to prove that you're struggling enough to deserve care.

We believe every person has a spark of strength and goodness—even on their hardest days. Sometimes, our job is simply to help you find it again and give you the tools to help it grow.

You are doing the hard work.

We're here to sit alongside you while you figure it out—with compassion, curiosity, clinical expertise, honesty, and absolutely no judgment.

There may occasionally be some spicy language, too. Consider yourself warned.
